Privacy Policy
Last updated November 3, 2026
The short version
- Your name, answers, notes and saved verses stay on your iPhone. Sacredly has no accounts and no server of its own that holds them.
- We can't see which apps you choose for Sacred Pause. Apple's Screen Time hides that from us.
- No ads. We don't sell your data or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
- Two services help us run the app: Adapty for subscriptions and Amplitude for analytics. They receive a limited set of data, described below.
1. Who we are
Sacredly is published by the developer named as the seller on its App Store page (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@sacredly-app.com.
2. What stays on your iPhone
The information in this section is stored on your device. It isn't sent to us, Adapty or Amplitude.
- What you share during setup: your first name, age range, where you are in your walk with God, your Bible and prayer habits, how you feel, what weighs on you (such as guilt, loneliness, temptation or health), your goals and your daily routine.
- Your progress: your days with God, finished steps, saved verses, last chapter read, devotional progress and chosen look.
- Sacred Pause: your schedule and unlock choices. iOS gives us private tokens for the apps you choose, and those tokens don't tell us which apps they are.
- Reminders: your iPhone schedules them, and they may include your first name. They don't pass through any server.
- Grace: what you type stays in the app's memory, and a voice note is kept in a protected temporary file. Both are erased when the flow ends. If the app closes in the middle of the flow, typed words are gone and the recording is removed the next time you open Sacredly.
- Camera: the mirror moment shows a live view on your screen. Nothing is captured, recorded or saved.
Camera, microphone, notifications and Screen Time access are optional, and you can change them at any time in iOS Settings. Features that need them won't work without them.
If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, this information may be part of that backup, under your settings and Apple's terms. Deleting Sacredly erases what the app stores on your iPhone. It doesn't change existing backups, and it doesn't cancel your subscription.
When you share a verse card or a link, iOS passes it to the app you pick, and that app's terms apply.
3. What leaves your iPhone
Apple
Apple handles App Store downloads, payments and subscriptions as a separate controller, under its own privacy policy. We never receive your card details. Apple gives us reports on downloads and sales.
Adapty, for subscriptions
- Who: Adapty Tech Inc., USA, acting as our processor.
- Data: a device identifier (Apple's identifier for vendor), an anonymous profile ID, IP address, device model, iOS and app version, language, and your purchases (product, price, currency, time and transaction ID).
- Why: to check that your subscription is active, restore it, show the right offers and prices, test offers and measure revenue.
- Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running and improving our offers.
Amplitude, for analytics
- Who: Amplitude, Inc., USA, acting as our processor.
- Data: a device identifier, the screens and steps you reach (for example, that a setup step or the paywall was shown), the time of those events, device model, iOS and app version, and language. Adapty also passes subscription events, such as started, renewed or cancelled, to Amplitude.
- Not included: your name, what you answered, what you wrote or said, the apps you chose or the verses you saved. We count that you reached a step, never what you chose in it. We configure Amplitude not to collect your IP address.
- Why: to see which parts of Sacredly help people, and to find and fix problems.
- Legal basis: your consent in the UK, EEA, Switzerland and Georgia, and our legitimate interest elsewhere. You can turn analytics off at any time in the app, under Settings, Privacy.
This website
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and technical request details to deliver pages and protect the site. Our legitimate interest in running a secure website is the legal basis. The website sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising.
When you email us
We receive your email address and your message through our email providers, and use them to answer you. Our legitimate interest in helping you, or our contract with you, is the legal basis.
Other disclosures
We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of Sacredly. In a sale or transfer, this policy keeps applying to your information until you are told otherwise.
4. Sensitive information
Sacredly is a Christian app, so the fact that you use it can suggest something about your religious beliefs. Data protection law in the UK, EEA, Switzerland and Georgia treats that as a special category of data, and laws elsewhere may too.
We keep this to a minimum. We don't build a profile of your beliefs, and what you share about your faith and struggles stays on your iPhone. In the UK, EEA, Switzerland and Georgia, we ask for your explicit consent when you first open the app, before any of the data in section 3 is sent to Adapty or Amplitude. You can refuse analytics and still use Sacredly. Subscription records are needed to provide a paid subscription, so we can't offer one if you refuse those.
5. Ads and tracking
Sacredly shows no ads. We don't sell your personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or link it with data from other companies for advertising.
6. International transfers
We are based in Georgia, so if you email us, we read your message there. Adapty and Amplitude are based in the USA, so your data may be processed outside your country. Adapty hosts data in the USA and relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum. Amplitude takes part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, including its UK Extension and the Swiss-U.S. framework, with the Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback. You can ask us for details of these safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
- On your iPhone: until you remove it or delete the app. Grace notes last only until the flow ends.
- Adapty: for as long as we need it to provide your subscription and meet legal, accounting and dispute obligations. Deleted data leaves Adapty's backups on their regular rotation.
- Amplitude: for as long as it's useful for improving Sacredly, or until you withdraw consent and ask us to delete it.
- Emails: until your question is resolved, and for a reasonable time after that in case you follow up, or longer if the law requires it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect what happened before. We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
To use these rights, email support@sacredly-app.com. Sacredly has no accounts, so we can't find your records by name or email. Please include the ID shown in the app under Settings, Privacy. We answer within one month, or sooner where your local law requires it.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, the Personal Data Protection Service in Georgia, or the authority where you live or work in the EEA or Switzerland. Residents of some US states have similar rights, which you can use the same way, and we won't treat you differently for using them.
9. Children
Sacredly isn't meant for children under 13, or under the higher age your country sets for agreeing to online services, which can be up to 16. If you believe a child has used Sacredly and data about them was sent to Adapty or Amplitude, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Security
Data sent from the app and this website travels over encrypted connections, and we limit access to the accounts we use with our providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If a change significantly affects how your data is used, we'll also tell you in the app.
